Recommendation on Minimum Receiver Technical Requirements for the Reception of DAB + signal issued by HAKOM
The document represents minimum technical requirements that DAB + receivers should meet in order to ensure high quality reception of digital radio services in the Republic of Croatia. The DAB + network is currently in operation, and the beginning of commercial work is expected in 2021.
ZAGREB, 8 January 2021 - The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) published the “Recommendation on Minimum Receiver Technical Requirements for the Reception of DAB + signal” (link), which represents the minimum technical requirements that DAB + receivers should meet in order to ensure high quality reception of digital radio services in the Republic of Croatia (RH).
A test DAB + network with a coverage of 88% of the population of the Republic of Croatia is currently in operation, and during 2021 a public tender is expected and the issuance of licence of radio frequency spectrum for digital radio , thus representing the beginning of commercial work of DAB + network.
