e-Registry “DO NOT CALL” - Consumers
If you do not wish to be contacted by traders to sell you a service or product via phone, consider registering your phone number in the "DO NOT CALL" Registry. Traders are not allowed to call or send promotional or sales messages to numbers listed in the Register.
The "DO NOT CALL" Registry is a free public register of consumer phone numbers who do not want to be contacted by traders via phone or SMS and MMS messages for promotional and sales purposes, as stipulated by the Consumer Protection Act.
Numbers are entered (or removed) by the respective operator at the request of the consumer (the signatory of the contract with the operator) within seven days of receiving the request. HAKOM does not enter or remove numbers but is responsible for overseeing operator actions in cases of disputed requests for entry or removal. For details on how to submit a request and to obtain the request form, please contact your operator.
The "DO NOT CALL" Registry is public and displays only three pieces of information: whether a specific number is registered, whether all previously given consents for that number have been withdrawn, and the timestamp of when the number was entered into the registry. Other details related to numbers registered in the "DO NOT CALL" Registry are not available.
The State Inspectorate is responsible for enforcing the Consumer Protection Act, specifically regarding traders who contact numbers listed in the Registry for promotional or sales purposes.
