The topics of the meeting were OTT services and their impact on the market. The participants of the meeting were the representatives of regulatory authorities of the EU Member States, the renowned experts in the field of Electronic communications. 

The most important topic of the meeting was the initiative of the Digital Single Market (DSM) intended to improve the affordability, quality and convenience of cross-border parcel delivery 

During the workshop, the representatives of the public sector and decision makers concerning the areas of transport, railways, customs and border control, coming from the countries along the Corridor Vc, will make an overview of the current status at the Port and the Corridor. The goal is to take into consideration all the possibilities for trade expansion and transport facilitation. 

Global Symposium for Regulators will be held under the slogan “Mind the Digital Gap”- regulatory incentives to achieve digital opportunities with the aim to explore the ways to ensure that all citizens can benefit from the social and economic environment brought about by the digital economy  

This training was designed as the form of education method for better usage of ICSMS system by the users and  more efficient cooperation and the exchange of information of non-compliant products. 

The possibilities of reaching the agreement on final text on the Single Market in Electronic Communications Regulation were discussed at the meeting.

HAKOM participated at the second BEREC Plenary Meeting held on 4 and 5 June in Bergen

 HAKOM passed the decision on the IP interconnection conditions thus placing Croatia among the small number of EU countries that have IP interconnection rules between operators.

The participants were informed about both consumers’ and operators’ rights and obligations in the field of the electronic communications services, especially those related to the conclusion and termination of subscription contracts and the possibility of controlling consumption and protection of the unwanted billings. 

The reconstruction of the access network was agreed according to which the users will be able to access the high speed Internet. This refers to HRK 1 million worth investment and three new access nodes will be built too. 

In the first quarter of 2015 the number of postal packages increased in comparison to the same period last year 

The biggest growth has been recorded in the use of service facilities for vehicles’ shunting and manoeuvring .The Railway freight transport has recorded a decrease in travelled tonne kilometres on a quarterly basis while the growth of 9 % has been recorded on an annual basis. 

Around 70 % of the population in the Republic of Croatia have the Internet access via cellular phones due to, among other things, the growth of smart phones numbers. Because of the increased number of the mobile Internet users and the obvious users’ demands for the higher speed of data transmission, the new technologies such as LTD are crucial for being networked in future.
  

The decision to announce public tender for the selection of universal service provider, as well as the tender documentation, were published on HAKOM’s website.

It refers to the professional body in the field of the postal regulation comprising 48 European countries. 

HAKOM's experts are actively participating at the workshops and the round tables, as the authors and reviewers of scientific papers, as well as the chairpersons of the meeting within the framework of CTI at the 38th International ICT Convention in Opatija. 

The main topics of the discussion were the net neutrality and roaming in the European Union and the way they will be regulated within the single market in the upcoming years. 

The work and the activities of the four working groups operating within the ERGP's regulatory framework will be presented at the meeting.
