Workshop on "Providing support to the local and regional self- governments in project initiation and implementation in order to increase the accessibility of broadband infrastructure with the help of state aid was held on Tuesday in Osijek, and the same workshop was held for the representatives of the Vukovar Srijem County on Wednesday. 

The objective of the bilateral meeting attended by the Bulgarian and Croatian representatives was to exchange experiences and find possible solutions related to the challenges that both countries are facing with in the area of electronic communications. 

Every year HAKOM conducts extensive measuring activities along the entire coast and on the islands where the interferences are the strongest. In the past seven years more than 3,200 international complaints against interference have been sent to the Italian administration and 700 new complaints have been sent this year. 

A public hearing will be opened until October 22 2015. It is possible to register and submit the comments on the last day of the hearing until 2 pm. 

The topics were the actualities and the most important issues concerning the roaming at the European Union level. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the regulatory authorities within the EU Member States, the renowned experts in the field of Electronic communications.
  

The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee – RSC dealing with the operational decisions regarding the management of the radio frequency spectrum in the European Union, as well as the meeting of the Working Group on Cross-border co-ordination ("Good Office") established by the Advisory Group Policy RF spectrum management were held in Brussels. 

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Polish regulatory authority (UKE) the celebration and the Conference were held to deepen the existing good relations between HAKOM and UKE.

This week, two important postal days are celebrated; the World Post Day commemorating the Universal Postal Union’s founding (UPU) in 1874 in the capital of Switzerland - Bern, celebrated every year on October 9 as well as the day of the Croatian Post celebrated on October 10.

The working group deals with the revision of the EU regulatory framework in the field of electronic communications and it is currently working on the preparation of responses to the European Commission questionnaire aimed at getting the insight into actual application of the regulatory framework and to discuss key issues that should be resolved within the new regulatory framework 

The quality of services within the net neutrality rules as well as the report on the study mostly dealing with the net neutrality issue from the perspective of an end –user were the topics discussed at the meeting.

HAKOM’s roundtables with the stakeholders represent a further step towards improvement of the postal services market regulation and the promotion of joint interest. 

It is a part of the radio frequency spectrum in which, in addition to the second and third generations of mobile networks, those from the fourth generation can develop as well, whereby the services based on high speed data transfer can be offered to the users. 

Applicative solution for this project was made within HAKOM's Programme for the development of Internet and broadband Internet access in the areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and islands. 

The most important topic was the revision of the regulatory framework since the EC, which is launching the revision of the regulatory framework, values BEREC’s opinion on key issues. The main discussion focused on the definition of services in the regulatory framework since the existing definitions were developed 20 years ago in a different framework and in part no longer correspond to the development of technologies, services and market.   

The group was established in order to facilitate optimization and international coordination of the remaining broadcasting spectrum at the regional level. The results of this group will contribute to the process of international coordination of frequencies necessary for the switchover to DVB-T2 and to the freeing of the spectrum of the second digital dividend for services in mobile communications networks 

The main topics of the meeting refer to the final adoption of the report on PPDR systems (Public Protection and Disaster Relief) in 400 and 700 MHz frequency bands, which are based on LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology and that will be used by different public services in the mobile networks system
