ZAGREB, September  25, 2015 - Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers in Zadar hosted the 8th Days of Electrical Engineers in Zadar The conference was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, the Ministry of Economy, Zadar County, the City of Zadar, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture Split, Faculty of Engineering Rijeka. The conference brought together many domestic and international guests and many experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM). Zdenko Marcelić, Hrvoje Perica and Vladimir Žuti.
 
HAKOM's experts held the presentation regarding the new regulations aimed at reducing the costs of deploying the electronic communications networks. This presentation refers to the new measures aimed at reducing the costs of deploying high-speed electronic communications networks The measures prescribed by EU Directive facilitate and incentivise the roll-out of high-speed electronic communications networks by promoting the joint use of existing physical infrastructure and by enabling a more efficient deployment of new physical infrastructure so that such networks can be rolled out at lower cost. In the Republic of Croatia there are regulations in the field of spatial planning applying the principle of an integrated infrastructure construction, including the adjustment of the planned routes of electronic communications infrastructure with the routes of other infrastructures in relation to the spatial integration and construction deadlines. In the area of construction special law on saving will be carried out in order to align the Croatian legislation with the EU Directive. Authorized engineers must be acquainted with these new Authorized engineers must be familiar with these new regulations in order to specialize in the integrated infrastructure and most importantly to be able to provide employment.
