Roaming Charges in the UK and International Calls currently remain at the same Price

 NEWS

The users of electronic communications services do not have to worry about unpredictable roaming charges, as regulations and charges for the United Kingdom will remain in force until at least December, 31 2020, when the currently agreed transitional period ends and when all regulations should be agreed in the future EU-UK-relations.

Zagreb, 31 January 2020 – Thanks to the transitional agreement, by the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union, the users of electronic communications services don’t have to worry about unpredictable roaming charges. However during their stay in the United Kingdom, the users will be able to use services compliant to the same regulations until further notice and without any changes for the time being, so there will be no change in calling the UK from Croatia. The same conditions and charges of roaming usage in the United Kingdom, according to the rule “Roam Like at Home”, stay in force.
The regulation for the United Kingdom will remain in force until at least 31 December 2020, when the agreed transitional period ends. After the end of the transitional period and in due time the public will be informed by HAKOM and the users by their operators about the possible changes.
We would like to remind you that regulations for the UK will force in the EU that limit roaming rates for the EU users when residing in other Member States, as well as for international calls from one Member State to another. The UK's exit from the EU will aim to reach an agreement on these rules by the end of the transitional period.
