The European Board for Digital Services published a report after the European Parliament elections

The European Board for Digital Services published a report on July 29 regarding the European Parliament elections held in June this year.

Zagreb, July 31, 2024 - Following the European Parliament elections held in June this year, the European Board for Digital Services published a report on July 29. The report provides an overview of the activities of the European Commission and the Digital Services Coordinator in monitoring and implementing the Digital Services Act (DSA). It also covers measures taken under the Code of Practice against Disinformation and the activities of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) in the context of the elections.
The report highlights the successfully coordinated actions of all relevant stakeholders, with no significant disinformation incidents impacting the elections.

The European Commission and the Digital Services Coordinators will continue to prioritize addressing risks to public discourse and electoral processes. Lessons learned from these elections will be applied to member states' national, regional, and local elections.
