Extension of the installation time to WIFi4EU Beneficiaries in order to allow every concerned Municipality to complete their Projects
Cities and municipalities, who won the vouchers in a Tender by the European Commission, received an additional eight-month deadline for the realization of the project
ZAGREB, 11 May 2020 - Due to the circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic across the Europe, the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) in agreement with the European Commission, decided to approve an extension of deadlines for the implementation of the establishment of free WiFi networks. The extension of deadlines refers to all local self-government units or associations of local self-government units that have received vouchers through three calls made so far under the WiFi4EU initiative to establish free Wi-Fi networks in public spaces. The initial 18-month period of implementation of the WiFi network is extended by an additional eight months.
