HAKOM at the annual Plenary Meeting of IRG-Rail

The annual plenary meeting of IRG-Rail was held in Portugal HAKOM also took part in it. 

ZAGREB, November 27, 2019 - Funchal in Portugal hosted the semi-annual plenary meeting of the Independent Regulators' Group – Rail

After the adoption of the minutes of the previous plenary meeting, Maria-Theresia Röhsler, director of the Austrian regulatory body Schienen-Control, was elected the RG-Rail's Co-Chair 2020. After the voting the work of the Austrian regulatory body IRG Rail was presented as well as the team willing to support her work and the work of the entire IRG Rail in the near future. After the plenary meeting the Co-Chairs were elected for the Access to Service Facilities Subgroups. The IRG Rail Working Group on Multimodality presented their work so far and made preliminary conclusions of performed activities.

Other working groups and sub-groups presented this year's work and their views presenting the documents regarding IRG Rail's internal priorities. The number of 11 of altogether 16 views e 11 point of  views were selected for voting as well as unanimously adopted  which will be announced on the IRG Rail website.
 
The plenary meeting presented the work programme of the Working Groups and IRG Rail for the next year, which was unanimously adopted. Representatives of the Portuguese regulatory body thanked all the regulatory bodies for their cooperation so far and welcomed the new chairman, the Belgian regulatory authority, which will serve as of 1 January 2020.
