HAKOM’s Market Day held within MIPRO 2020 in the afternoon in Opatija

ZAGREB, September 30, 2020 – This year's 43rd International Convention on Information, Communication and Electronic Technology MIPRO 2020 officially was opened in Opatija on Wednesday, September the 30th. In this year’s programme the conference will also have numerous plenary lectures, round tables and workshops, special sessions and presentations. Today, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. within the scope of MIPRO 2020 programme, HAKOM will hold its traditional Market Day, the event that brought together stakeholders’ representatives in the electronic communications market, postal and railway services, as well as state administration bodies, the economy and the media for many years

This year's event will present the most important activities on the electronic communications market in the future. The aim of the event is to encourage open discussion on some of the most attractive topics and the focus will be on the following topics through three panels:

1. The Republic of Croatia's readiness for 5G?
2. Wholesale access terms to newly deployed networks
3 Transparency of the terms of use of public communications services.

MIPRO 2020 is organised as a hybrid conference, meaning that the implementation of all programme elements takes place physically and virtually. Virtual participation will be enabled through advanced communications and collaborative interaction through a hybrid conference platform.
