Information workshop on the possibilities of using the CEF financial instrument
Zagreb, 10 February 2023- The European Commission and the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) are organising an information online workshop on the submission of project proposals under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) 5G for Smart Communities, with the aim of informing key stakeholders about the guidelines for submitting proposals and interconnecting potential project partners. The workshop will be held on 15 February, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On this occasion, the European Commission will present expectations from the second CEF Digital Call.
During the workshop, a support platform for “5G for Smart Communities” will be presented, (5GSC - 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform). The platform is designed to support interested stakeholders in the preparation of project proposals financed under the CEF. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences related to the first call and consultation on the second call, and they should register in advance via a link.
The workshop will be attended by the representatives of municipalities and cities, telecommunication and technology companies, socio-economic drivers of 5G use (particularly in the fields of health, education, mobility, security, rural development, agriculture and administration), European networks, associations and representative bodies, competent offices for broadband and representatives of the European institutions.
