German national regulatory authority Bundesnetzagentur organized a regulatory conference on the role of telecommunications operators and OTT service providers in Bonn. 

This year's ITU World Telecommunication annual conference was held in Budapest with the notable participation of HAKOM’s representatives 

The workshop was held at the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Krapina, and was intended for the representatives of Krapina-Zagorje County and the representatives of local municipalities and cities. 

 

A preliminary approval of retail prices of universal services access to the comprehensive directory of all subscribers of publicly available telephone services and Directory Enquiry service (information) about the numbers of subscribers has been granted to the company Imenik o.o. 

The ERGP's planned activities as well as the planned activities of the four working groups operating within ERGP's regulatory framework were presented at the meeting. 

Workshops on " Providing Support to the Local and Regional Self- governing units in Project Initiation and Implementation in order to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure with the help of state aid “ were held last week for the principals of the counties, cities and municipalities of Varaždin and Međimurje County. 

 

The second phase of monitoring the implementation of BEREC’s common positions was the topic discussed at the meeting as well as the report which is the result of data collection and processing.
  

DAB + technology will be presented at the meeting in order to inform the participants about the possibilities of providing multimedia services on the digital radio platform. 

The event is held within the celebration programme of the European Month of Network and Information Security and is intended for teachers of both primary and secondary schools and for all persons who want to use their knowledge to help children to be safer on the Internet. 

The lecture on “The Role of Sectorial Regulator in the Rail Service Market” was held by Mr. Nikola Popović, Council Member of HAKOM. 

The "Privacy Calculator" was created in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb, within the framework of the project "Looking into the Future 2020". The purpose of the application is to inform the end-users of the Internet access service about the potential dangers of providing personal information online. 

The most important topics of the meeting were “The report on the effective allocation and use of radio frequency spectrum in Europe as well as the report and discussion related to the tasks of the Working Group on Cross-Border Coordination”. The issues such Italian interference and the dispute resolution were discussed as well 

Stakeholder forum is an event where BEREC, for the third year in a row, has been representing its planned activities dealing with the topics that are of great importance to the all stakeholders on the market as well as the future electronic communications market development  

The regulation on implementation of the maximum roaming charges allowable (incoming calls) were discussed at the meeting. According to the draft regulations, roaming service prices will be significantly reduced compared to the existing ones.

The latest developments and the most important issues related to the call termination rate within EU Member States and beyond the EU’s borders were discussed at the meeting. 

The most important topics of the meeting were national activities related to cyber security, cyber incidents reporting in the EU Member States, cyber security strategy, legislative measures and cyber exercises at the EU level. 

The topic of the workshop is closely related to Directive 2014/61 / EU on measures to reduce the cost of deploying high-speed electronic communications network which Provisions are transposed into the national legislation of the EU Member States with the application starting July, 1 2016.
