Public Tender for Selecting the Universal Services Operator
Zagreb, July 18, 2024 - The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) has launched a public tender to select an operator for universal services in electronic communications in the Republic of Croatia. The public tender covers services across the entire country, as well as specific parts of the national territory (municipalities/cities/districts of the City of Zagreb) for a period of three years.
The universal services in the public tender include:
- Access to available broadband internet services and voice communication services at an affordable price, with the quality of service specified by the Ordinance on Universal Services in Electronic Communications,
- Installation of public telephone booths in areas or near places of public interest,
- Provision of affordable tariff options or packages tailored to socially vulnerable consumer groups.
The deadline for submitting bids is 13 August 2024 at 10:00 AM. The bid must be received (logged) by HAKOM no later than the deadline, regardless of the delivery method.
