(R)evolution of Digital Services: How European Regulations are Changing the (Online) World
ZAGREB, 5 December 2024 - On Tuesday, 10 December 2024, from 10:30a to 12:10 p.m., a dialogue will take place at the House of Europe, Augusta Cesarca 4-6, Zagreb, focusing on the influence of the European Digital Services Act on the Croatian, European, and global digital market.
From the perspectives of industry, media, and the market, discussions about the (r) evolution of digital services in Croatia will feature: Dunja Ivana Ballon, Director of the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA!) and IAB Croatia, Matej Lončarić, President of the Croatian Association of Digital Publishers (HUDI), and Ivanka Mabić Gagić, Director of Aleph Croatia.
Zrinka Ujević, Head of the European Commission Representation in Croatia, will address the European Commission’s role in the digital decade. Andrea Čović Vidović, Head of Media and Deputy Head of the Representation, will present the European dimension of the Digital Services Act. Domagoj Maričić, Assistant Director, will represent HAKOM, while Robert Tomljenović, Deputy Director, will represent the Agency for Electronic Media. Nives Zvonarić will attend on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Media.
The event is also expected to host Damir Habijan, Minister of Justice, Public Administration, and Digital Transformation, alongside Tena Šimonović Einwalter, the Ombudswoman.
