Winners from the 2nd round of CEF2 Digital call announced
ZAGREB 4 December 2023 - On 1 December 2023, the European Commission (EC) published a list of projects selected for co-financing in the second round of the Digital call CEF2. A total of 69 project proposals, 42 were selected for co-financing amounting 260 million EUR. Projects from 18 Member States in total are related to the objectives ranging from the deployment of 5G infrastructure for local communities and along the main European transport corridors to the deployment of subsea cables within and towards the EU.
Among the selected projects are two projects involving the companies from Croatia. The project developer of the study on cross-border implementation of the 5G for the Mediterranean corridor between Slovenia and Croatia is Telemach Slovenija d.o.o. and the partner from Croatia is Telemach Hrvatska d.o.o. The EC will co-finance the study with EUR 735,225. Partners in the second project improving public services of the Port of Ploce through implementation of connectivity 5G are the Port Authority of Ploce and Marda d.o.o., In adition, the project was co-financed in the amount of EUR 958.125.
