HAKOM Carried out a Public Opening of the Submitted Bids in the Tendering Procedure for the Selection of the Universal Service Provider

HAKOM’s Council shall adopt the decisions on the selection of the universal service provider no later than August, 31, 2015.
 
ZAGREB, 6 July 2015 – Within the public tender deadline for selecting one or more operators for the universal service provision in the period from 28 May to 2 July 2015, Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) carried out a public opening of the submitted bids. The company IMENIK Ltd. submitted the bid for following services as well:
 
1. The end- users access to at least one comprehensive public directory
2. The end-users access to the Directory Enquiry Services (information) on subscribers data
 
HAKOM‘s Council shall adopt decisions on the selection of operators to provide universal service no later than 31 August 2015. In order to preserve the sustainability of the universal service HAKOM can impose an obligation for the services for which no bid was placed to some operators.
