Representatives of ministries and regulatory bodies of the CEFTA member states are on a study visit to HAKOM
Zagreb, April 23, 2024 - Within the scope of the study visit of representatives from relevant ministries and regulatory bodies of the CEFTA member states to HAKOM, on April 16, a professional workshop was held on the adaptation of legislative and normative frameworks in the field of postal services. During the visit, foreign representatives were acquainted with the work and powers of HAKOM in the field of postal services, as well as practical experiences in the implementation and application of EU Regulation 644/2018 on cross-border parcel delivery services, applicable Croatian standards for measuring the quality of universal postal service provision, and the procedure for protecting postal service users in the Republic of Croatia.
The visit was jointly organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Office in Sarajevo, and the organizational committee of CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement), whose member states include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia, and UNMIK/Kosovo.
