The 26th Plenary Meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services was held
ZAGREB, June 25, 2024 - The 26th plenary meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) was held in Vienna, Austria, on June 21, 2024. At the first plenary session of the year, the draft ERGP WP 2024 was discussed and approved, based on the three main areas of the ERGP Medium-Term Strategy (MTS) for the period 2023-2025. The draft Work Programme will be submitted for public consultation from July 5 to October 4, 2024.
Prior to the plenary meeting, a professional workshop was held on the topic "Vulnerable Users in the Postal World: Who? What Needs? What's Next?" was held. The workshop aimed to discuss, clarify, and define who the vulnerable users/groups are today and what their requirements/needs for postal services are in the present and future, from the perspective of potentially vulnerable user groups, postal service providers, and policymakers. The results of the discussion will be incorporated into the ERGP report on the needs of vulnerable users/groups for postal services, which is planned for the 27th ERGP plenary meeting in autumn 2024. Representatives from HAKOM participated in the session, where, among other things, the ERGP working group report on access to parcel delivery infrastructure was adopted.
